Pursuit of Happyness

When I think of some of my favorite movies, this title always comes to mind. I think it is because of the many lessons you can learn from it about life, faith and determination, as well as balancing your work life with your personal life.
In this movie, based on a true story, you can most certainly see from the main character, Christopher Gardner (Will Smith), that although he loses someone he loves, struggles as a salesman, and lives homeless, sleeping in the bathrooms of a subway, Gardner continues to remain positive, nurture and love his son, and push even harder at turning his life around. He shows selfless acts, brings inspiration to others throughout the movie, and continues to shock the audience by showing them that you can beat the odds if you trust your inner self, and have confidence, faith and perseverance.
Lessons from the movie:
1. Even during the most strenuous struggle, remain positive and focused on your goal.
2. Through stressful times, keep a light sense of humor to bring a little sunshine into your day.
3. Appreciate and love those that support you through thick and thin (your #1 fans!).
4. You have to climb up the steep mountain to see the beautiful view at the top.
6. Be yourself and let your unique personality stand out among the competition.5. Even if you can't see it, there is always someone out there who is inspired by you. Keep your chin up and continue to inspire them.
Enjoy the quotes below from Pursuit of Happyness and watch the movie if you haven't already!
Christopher Gardner (Will Smith): Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. All right?
Christopher (son): All right.
Christopher Gardner: You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.

Christopher Gardner: It was right then that I started thinking about Thomas Jefferson on the Declaration of Independence and the part about our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And I remember thinking how did he know to put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue and maybe we can actually never have it. No matter what. How did he know that?

(last scene)
Christopher Gardner: [voice-over] This part of my life... this part right here? This is called "happyness."
Please add more lessons from Pursuit of Happyness or other movie titles with great financial/occupational wellness lessons.
