3 c of whole-wheat flour
1/2 c of flaxseed
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 can (12 oz) beer (preferably organic)
*Different types of beer will give you different flavors. Keith and I prefer the dark beers or a honey beer.
1. Mix all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add a little more flour if the mixture is not a dough-like mixture.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9x5 inch bread pan with 100 % olive oil.
3. Cook between 30-40 minutes or until it is all evenly cooked and a light brown color. Use a toothpick to check that the center is cooked (it will come out clean).
